I was hoping to write a recap of my Single Speed Worlds experience. I really was. But it’s been a coupla weeks now and it’s just not going to happen. How ’bout I just say it was a lovely, brutal ride. Beautiful day, cool people on the trails, the worlds longest brake-free descent at full cruising speed… I had a blast and was completely spent by the end.
Agreed. It was an incredible experience. I started a few writeups, but I just felt like I couldn’t properly capture the essence, spirit, and excitement of the event and the race, that I plain gave up.
That downhill was the straightest, longest, and fastest I’ve ever gone off-road. Cheers,
