Trishy’s a very cool photographer who’s selling prints to cover costs for groovlingo.com. I can’t decide if I should get that cool Lomograph or the photo of the casa in Barcelona. I love those nasty greens on the casa. Yum!

First Snow

Blather — tim @ 8:13 pm

Just poked my head outside and now I have an admission to make:

I was wrong.

The weather services told us it’d come, but I pooh-poohed them. Never happen. They kept calling for it all last winter and we never got any. But this time they were right. And I was wrong.

It’s snowing.

[Update: 5 minutes later]

And now it’s turned into tiny little raindrops… See? I told you it wouldn’t snow. Hah!

Fastgirls.

Art & Media, Lust — tim @ 8:31 pm

I suppose I’ve always had a soft spot for Fastgirls.

Naughty, naughty me.

Weekend miscellany from Tarrytown.

Blather — tim @ 7:00 pm

Had a whirlwind weekend, so how about a whirlwind recap?

Last night Sam was trying to tell me that the guy from this ad looks like der Maschinemann.

I wasn’t buying it.

Then he said that if we each had our own Maschinemensch, this one would be mine. Okay, yeah, I do see the resemblance…

In other, more important news, Dad’s show opened Saturday at the Red Wing Gallery in Tarrytown, NY. I went up to help him hang it on Friday. Here’s a pic of the hanging process. I’ll post one from the reception as soon as I can grab one from him or Kent. The show looks great. It runs through the peak holiday shopping frenzy, so I’m hoping he’ll see some good sales.

Also, there’s nothing like following a lead, calling a studio and being transferred to a voice message to hear some HR schpiel and then being hung up on automatically. Now that’s cold. Harrumph.

Wakey-wakey…

Blather — tim @ 7:00 pm

Wakey-wakey, Fraulein Muse! C’mon old girl—up & at ‘em…

Shhh…

Blather — tim @ 9:51 pm

The muse is sleeping. Let’s try not to wake her, okay?
